From November 2010 until June 2014, Emedya Design researched, edited, and published seven issues of Natura, a magazine focused on stone architecture and interiors for the Istanbul Mineral Exporters' Association, Turkey’s foremost stone sector representative. From strategy to print publication, Emedya Design was responsible for all aspects of this unique publication that critically focused on the rich marble, granite, and natural stone architecture of Turkey and the Eurasian region stretching from the Mediterranean to Central Asia. Original articles and photography from renowned names such as Iwan Baan and Cemal Emden were integrated into a dynamic graphic design, making this one of the most original English language media publications in Turkey and the region edited by our experienced editor Özlem Alkan Karakuş.

In partnership with Nurus furniture company, Emedya Design put together the anthology Turkish Touch in Design which highlights the work of the leading Turkish industrial designers through the 1990s and 2000s. This original volume displays the work of these designers, exploring the distinctive commonality that unites them all in the Turkish context at the turn of the century. Gökhan Karakuş, Özlem Alkan Karakuş and Gözde Kavalci from Emedya Design produced the extensive English and Turkish editorial. The book was produced along with the Ilk in Milano exhibition of Turkish design exhibited at Zona Tortona during the Salone del Mobile, 2007 produced by Nurus.
